A varied diet with vegetables; vitamin C supports iron absorption.
Do not combine with other vitamin A (retinol) or iron supplements without adding up your total intake.
Be careful during pregnancy or when planning one – liver is high in vitamin A. With gout (high purine content), haemochromatosis, Wilson's disease or when taking medicines, consult your doctor.
The EFSA tolerable upper level for vitamin A (retinol) is 3,000 µg a day from all sources. Do not exceed the label dose.
If you eat liver once a week, you usually do not need liver capsules.
