With food.
A varied diet; mushroom extracts in combination products.
Do not combine with blood thinners – fucoidan may have a mild anticoagulant effect.
Be careful with bleeding disorders, before surgery and with thyroid disease (possible iodine content). During cancer treatment use it only after consulting your doctor. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, with kidney or liver disease, or when taking medicines, consult your doctor.
Generally well tolerated; quality depends on purity (heavy metals). Do not exceed the label dose.
Prefer a product with heavy-metal testing and a stated fucoidan percentage.
Strong = several good human studies or official recommendations; moderate = promising but smaller studies; weak = few studies or mixed results; no evidence = claims not confirmed.
